What Is KRF?
The Kyle Reagan Foundation was established by Kris and Melissa Holzmeyer after adopting their first child from China.
Like thousands of couples throughout America, they experienced numerous trials during their journey to parenthood.
In the end, it was God's grace and the sacrificial giving of others that allowed the Holzmeyer's to welcome the first child into their home through the miracle of adoption. Kris, Melissa, and Kyle hope that KRF will share the same spirit of giving that they experienced throughout their journey to parenthood.
"Reagan?"
This adoption ministry is named after the Holzmeyer’s son, Kyle Reagan
President Reagan embodied a unique spirit of freedom characterized through his actions and words that all people should have the opportunity to live in freedom and become the man or woman God ordained for them to be.
"Sponsoring the Miracle"
KRF is sponsored by Second Baptist Church in Clinton,
Desiring to fulfill a biblical mandate to love and care for orphans (James 1:27), Second Baptist has partnered with KRF to promote the message of adoption and to assist families traveling this difficult journey.
Second Baptist is in the top one percent of the fastest growing Southern Baptist congregations in the
SBC has "adopted" the Kyle Reagan Foundation as a mission effort of the church in order to help childless couples become one family and give a child from another land the opportunity to live in freedom.

"Why Evansville and FTIA?"
Although the Holzmeyer's now reside in the state of Tennessee where Kris helps pastor Second Baptist of Clinton, there is a special place in their hearts for southwestern Indiana.
Both Kris and Melissa grew up in Evansville. The Kyle Reagan Foundation is one way they can be assured that they are still impacting the lives of people in their home community.
